Basketball celebrity Steph Curry is increasing his off-court profession. The daddy-of-three introduced that on September 6, his first kids’s e book, I Have a Superpower, will hit cabinets!

“With this story, we needed to create one thing that impressed younger readers to imagine of their ardour and centered on the message that you do not have to be the strongest, quickest or tallest child on the planet with a view to succeed,” the athlete shared with PEOPLE. “Kids really are our future, and it’s my hope that this particular e book empowers the following era and reminds them to maintain dreaming massive.”

It is a message that the star believes himself, as he proved loads of naysayers incorrect when he pursued a profession within the NBA. At 6’2″, Curry’s shorter than nearly all of his friends, as the typical skilled basketball participant measures in about 4 inches taller.
And after greater than 10 years within the league, the Golden State Warriors level guard has secured three NBA championships and has been named MVP twice.

Curry will certainly take up the chance to learn the e book to his and spouse Ayesha‘s youngsters: son Canon, 3, and daughters Riley, 9, and Ryan, 6 — although he is not pushing them to dabble in hoops or any sport generally.
“I would like our ladies to develop up understanding that there are not any boundaries that may be positioned on their futures, interval,” he shared. “I would like them to develop up in a world the place their gender doesn’t really feel like a rulebook for what they need to assume, or be, or do.
