Not for the primary time, Elon Musk has reportedly unfollowed his ex-partner, the Canadian musician Grimes, after she publicly expressed help for his estranged trans daughter.
Dance-pop singer and songwriter Grimes, whose actual title is Claire Elise Boucher, expressed her help for Elon Musk’s trans daughter, Vivian Wilson, after the tech billionaire claimed she had been killed by the “woke thoughts virus”.
Wilson hit again towards her father’s feedback, saying that she appears to be like “fairly good for a lifeless b**ch“.
Boucher, who has three kids with Musk, wrote in a put up on X/Twitter that she is “ceaselessly endlessly pleased with Vivian”.
In response to a put up from the media watchdog account Large Tech Alert, which tracks the exercise of chief executives and high-ranking executives on X, Musk unfollowed Boucher the day after her put up.
This isn’t the primary time he has unfollowed her on the platform this 12 months, having completed so in March shortly after the announcement that she was in a brand new relationship. Though he started following her once more, Musk then unfollowed, and re-followed, Grimes – who parted methods with him in 2021 – in January 2023.
Whereas Boucher has expressed help for trans individuals, she has additionally tried to defend Musk’s anti-trans rhetoric up to now.
