Apparently, followers don’t need JLo now. So her tour producers are hoping they’ll need JLo then.
The struggling North American “This Is Me…Now” tour – Jennifer Lopez‘s first in 5 years — is remodeling into “This Is Me…Stay/The Best Hits.” It’s apparently hoped that the promise of acquainted materials will goose ticket gross sales, which already noticed seven tour dates canceled.
The tour is accompanied by a brand new album and two movies. The album opened at No. 1 on a few Billboard’s lesser charts after which sank. It debuted at No. 38 on an important chart, the Billboard 200, and It’s now under the Billboard 200 Mendoza line.
It has been 10 years since Lopez’s final studio LP, 2014’s A.Okay.A., and 22 years since 2002’s This Is Me … Then gave her two of her largest hits in “Jenny From the Block” and “All I Have.”
The 2 movies are This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, and a documentary, The Best Love Story By no means Advised.”
The tasks have been a part of a self-financed, $20 million multimedia challenge that features the tour and the 2 movies.
