His casting within the upcoming Matt Shakman-helmed MCU reboot was confirmed in February, together with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (aka Mr. Improbable), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (aka The Invisible Lady) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (aka The Factor). Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer are writing the script for The Improbable 4.
Nyong’o joined the MCU as Nakia in 2018’s Black Panther, having since returned for the 2022 sequel Wakanda Without end.
