Maya Rudolph returned to Saturday Night time Stay as host for the Mom’s Day present.
“Thanks from the underside of my coronary heart,” Rudolph mentioned as she took the stage of Studio 8H. “It’s so good to be again and for the Mom’s Day episode.”
Rudolph mentioned that for her, it was “further particular” as she is a four-time mother, joking, “I’ve 4 lovely youngsters… that I do know of.”
Bowen Yang and Sarah Sherman popped as much as congratulate her on Mom’s Day.
“However Maya, you’re not only a mother, you’re mo-ther,” Yang famous.
Sherman added, “You’re a 30 Rock legend. You’ve had your foot on our neck since Y2K.”
Kenan Thompson, in character, then launched Rudolph because the Mom of the Home of Rockefeller.
Rudolph then appeared on stage surrounded by a bunch of dancers and singing, “I’m your mom!”
The tune’s lyrics referenced Rudolph’s work, together with Bridesmaids and the characters she was most remembered for on SNL.
