The Voice‘s twenty sixth season goes to the Dogg.
NBC introduced at its upfront presentation Monday that Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé will be part of the singing competitors as coaches for its twenty sixth season within the fall. Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani will return to the present, McEntire for her third version of the present and Stefani for her eighth.
Each Snoop and Bublé have appeared on The Voice up to now: Snoop Dogg served as a “mega mentor” within the present’s twentieth season, and Bublé was an adviser to Blake Shelton’s crew again in season three.
McEntire’s return implies that she’ll bookend NBC’s weeknight schedule within the fall, with The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays and Completely happy’s Place, a comedy sequence starring the a number of Grammy, CMA and ACM award winner, set for Fridays.
The Voice is considered one of a number of collaborations between NBCUniversal and Snoop Dogg within the close to future. The rapper and producer will contribute to the corporate’s Olympics protection from Paris this summer season, and Common Photos is growing a biopic about his life, with Allen Hughes set to direct and Joe Robert Cole (Black Panther) writing the screenplay. Snoop, Hughes, Brian Grazer and Sara Ramaker are producing.
