Zendaya is revealing what some tennis greats considered her newest efficiency. ET’s Denny Directo spoke to the actress and her Challengers co-stars about their movie, and Zendaya shared how Serena and Venus Williams responded to the venture.
Whereas Zendaya mentioned she hadn’t talked to Venus concerning the movie but — “fingers crossed” she’d approve of her tennis abilities, the actress mentioned — she did converse to Serena regarding the flick.
“She was like, ‘I do know there undoubtedly weren’t actual [tennis] balls,” Zendaya revealed of Serena. “She is aware of. She’s the most effective of the most effective.”
Serena did have some reward for Zendaya, because the Euphoria star recalled, “She did say that it was nice contemplating that I had by no means, by no means touched a tennis ball earlier than.”
That needs to be welcome information for Zendaya, who beforehand “apologized prematurely” to the sisters for her onscreen tennis talents.
Along with the Williams sisters, whose famed Vogue look Zendaya not too long ago recreated, Zendaya mentioned that a few of her relations, together with her mother and father, have seen the film, one thing she finds “hilarious” given its attractive nature.
