The one-off supergroup GBI — Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Anthrax members Charlie Benante and Scott Ian — have unveiled their cowl of the Unhealthy Brains track “The Regulator.”
The trio had beforehand introduced the one as a Document Retailer Day (April twentieth) vinyl launch, and on Sunday (April twenty first), they unleashed a music video for the monitor (watch under).
Upon the preliminary announcement of the one, Scott Ian revealed the story behind the collaboration: “Anthrax had been recording our new album at [Grohl’s] 606 [studio] and the Foo’s had been there rehearsing on the identical time. Dave had popped into the studio to hold and hearken to what we had been doing and we’d gone over to listen to the Foo’s rehearse. I texted Dave the subsequent morning and mentioned: ‘Hey! Proceeds from the one profit legendary Unhealthy Brains singer H.R., who’s affected by SUNCT Syndrome, which causes cycles of intense complications that make it not possible for him to carry out.
