An intersection in Silver Lake not too long ago designated as historic for its reference to Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy’s basic 1932 movie, The Music Field, will quickly get its personal signal.
The Metropolis Council on Wednesday voted unanimously to call the intersection of Vendome Road and Del Monte Drive because the “1932 website of the `The Music Field’ Starring Laurel and Hardy.”
Laurel and Hardy gained an Academy Award for brief comedy for the work, which was
filmed on the Music Field Steps in Silver Lake. The premise is easy: the lads need to ship an enormous piano to a home on the high of the steps.

The Silver Lake Enchancment Affiliation will host its annual “Music Field Steps Day Competition” at Laurel and Hardy Park, throughout the road from the Music Field Steps.
