LuckyChap, the manufacturing staff Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara behind Barbie and Saltburn will staff with multiple-Tony-winning Broadway producing veterans Sue Wagner and John Johnson (Stereophonic, Lempicka) to current a world premiere stage musical subsequent fall from Marla Mindelle, the co-author and authentic star of the Off Broadway hit musical-comedy Titaníque.
Directed and choreographed by Connor Gallagher (Broadway’s Beetlejuice), The Large Homosexual Jamboree will function a e-book by Mindelle and Jonathan Parks-Ramage, with music and lyrics by Mindelle and Philip Drennen. Performances start September 14 on the Orpheum Theatre Off Broadway, with a gap evening set for October 1.
The challenge marks the primary stage enterprise for LuckyChap, whose different movie and TV credit embrace Promising Younger Girl, I, Tonya and the Hulu TV sequence Dollface.
The Large Homosexual Jamboree, in keeping with the synopsis, “facilities on Stacey, who after blacking out from 18 Jägerbombs, wakes up hungover in essentially the most terrifying place of all: an Off-Broadway musical. With no reminiscence of how she acquired there, Stacey is compelled to place her BFA in theater to make use of, belt her face off, and work out how the hell she’s gonna escape this Nineteen Forties golden age musical…whereas a stay viewers watches.”

The artistic staff for The Large Homosexual Jamboree consists of dots (set design), Sarah Cubbage (costume design), Brian Tovar (lighting design), and Aaron Rhyne (projection design). Musical Supervision and Preparations by David Dabbon and Casting is by Stephen Kopel.

Titaníque, a jukebox musical parody of the 1997 movie Titanic, options the songs of Céline Dion and features a Céline Dion character who hijacks a tour at a Titanic museum and supplies her tackle what actually occurred to Jack and Rose that fateful evening. The present premiered in Los Angeles in 2017, then started an Off Broadway run on the Asylum Theatre in 2022 (later transferring to the Daryl Roth Theatre, the place it continues to play). Titaníque gained the Off Broadway Lucille Lortel Awards for excellent musical, lead performer (Mindelle) and costume design (Alejo Vietti).
