Energy Journey performed their first full present with new singer Seth Gilmore on Thursday night time (June sixth) on the Glass Home in Pomona, California. The gig served as a warm-up for the band’s look on the one-day No Values punk pageant in Pomona on Saturday (June eighth).
Again in December, Gilmore joined the surviving members of Energy Journey for a shock five-song set on the Mohawk in Austin, Texas. That gig marked the band’s first efficiency because the tragic passing of frontman Riley Gale in August 2020.

In February, the band formally introduced its return with Gilmore as its lead singer, reserving a handful of reveals for 2024, together with the 2 Pomona appearances and headlining live shows in Los Angeles (June ninth), Dallas (July sixth), and New York Metropolis (August twenty fourth). Ultimately night time’s present, Energy Journey performed a 12-song set, principally culled from their two full-length albums: 2013’s Manifest Decimation and 2017’s Nightmare Logic.
Fan-filmed video of the set reveals an enthusiastic response from the group, as followers moshed and sang alongside to favorites like “Executioner’s Tax (Swing of the Axe).”
Saturday’s set on the No Values pageant will see Energy Journey taking part in on a legendary invoice that features the Authentic Misfits, Iggy Pop, Social Distortion, Turnstile, Chic, Jesus Lizard, and extra.
