The primary trailer has been launched for the upcoming Finnish heavy metallic comedy Heavier Journey, the sequel to the cult 2018 movie Heavy Journey.
Persevering with from the primary film, the story follows the underground excessive metallic band Impaled Rektum on their journey to hone their sound, and now they’ve been booked for “the holy grail of metallic festivals”: Germany’s Wacken Open Air.
The heavy metallic comedy sees the band on a “loopy highway journey throughout Northern Europe” to succeed in the German fest. As seen within the trailer, Impaled Rektum encounter seedy business sorts who attempt to affect their sound, rival bands, and even BABYMETAL, who seem within the trailer together with their music “Gimme Chocolate!!”
In response to Selection, the sequel takes place a number of years after the tip of the unique movie, and finds Impaled Rektum in jail. When the guitarist’s father falls unwell and wishes monetary assist, the band plans to interrupt out of jail and embark on a journey to play Wacken Open Air.

Doppelgänger Releasing, a genre-focused label of Music Field Movies, acquired North American distribution rights to Heavier Journey, which has scenes in each Finnish and English within the trailer. Charades is dealing with world gross sales rights.
The film was filmed within the administrators’ native Finland and ultimately 12 months’s muddy Wacken Open Air pageant.
