Dan Schneider has sued Investigation Discovery for defamation over his portrayal in Quiet on Set: The Darkish Aspect of Youngsters TV, accusing the corporate of falsely implying that he sexually abused youngsters who labored Nickelodeon sequence he created and ran.
Schneider, in a lawsuit filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Courtroom, says his depiction within the five-part docuseries is a “hit job.” Whereas it’s true that two youngster sexual abusers labored on community exhibits, he says he had “no information of their abuse,” condemned it and “was not a baby sexual abuser himself.”
“However for the sake of clickbait, scores, and views — or put otherwise, cash — Defendants have destroyed Schneider’s popularity and legacy via the false statements and implications that Schneider is precisely that.”
